The thought of having 7 consecutive days off with no vacation days being spent will easily get me through these next 3 days.

Pfft. Tomorrow I get to sleep in since I don’t have to be at the office until 5:00 AM. For the rest of the next 3 months it’s back to 3:00 AM.
Well, if you’re not used to it, yeah, it can be a pain. I’m not a morning person and have been doing 3:00 AM shift for the last month, but I’d still rather not...

I’ve literally never worked a Sunday in my albeit short life, and wouldn’t have at this job if this site owner wasn’t completely uncooperative. So I worked two 12h night shifts Wed/Thurs night, got home friday at 9am, and then had to leave my house at 5:15 this morning.

My work is a 24/7 operation, but obviously some periods are busier than others. On the bright side, I get out of there at noon when things really start to pick up. Getting non-breakfast meals at 7:00 in the morning can be a challenge if I decide not to bring my own lunch. Let’s just say I now know the morning regulars over at Jack In The Box...

Today’s my Thursday. I’ve already worked 45 hours. Looking like I’ll be up to 68 by the end of tomorrow.
Getting in to work for 6:30 on the day after Canada day is... Not great. At least it’s an easy day of make-work projects.

If it makes you feel any better, my nap was only about 18 minutes long.
